Musée Cannibale is an exhibition held by Musée d'Ethnologie de Neuchâtel in 2002, about "the cannibalistic desire to feed on others, a desire which originally led to the creation and development of museums of ethnography."
Quai Branly is described as Chirac's one "Grand Project". An Art and Ethnography Museum, designed by Jean Nouvel, and inaugurated in paris in 2006.
Redux, adj, [Latin : re-, re- + dux, leader; see duke.] Brought back; returned. Used postpositively.
What
An ongoing final Master design, after the competition for the Musée des Arts Premiers du Quai Branly. Somehow a retroactive project, since Jean Nouvel's museum is already occupying the site. This blog is going to display both references and working documents, theory and practice, with no explicit distinction. Its content is flexible, and should be expected to shuffle a lot.
Who
Pierre de Brun, Sebastien Berthier Architecture students, ENSAPLV
